Welcome to GRAMP.-UB

Medieval and Postmedieval Research Group of the University of Barcelona (GRAMP.-UB) is formed by an interdisciplinary team of different members from national and international institutions and is registered in the Department of Medieval History, Paleography and Diplomatics at the University of Barcelona.

Successive works and research projects undertaken lead to the official recognition in 1995 as a Quality Research Group by the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan Government) and it currently is a consolidated research group.

Conference at the University of Strasbourg

GRAMP was present last week in the Seminar “Frontières et itinéraires en Europe du Moyen Âge au XXe siècle” organized by the Lab ARCHE (Art, Civilisation et Histoire de l’Europe). Within a collaborative framework between GRAMP and ARCHE research groups, our colleague Esther Travé was invited by Dr. Damien Coulon in order to perform a conference entitled “Micro-histoires archéologiques dans les espaces frontaliers ibériques: exemples pour une analyse intégrée des sources écrites et matérielles médiévales”. This took place at the Maison Interuniversitaire des Sciences de l'Homme – Alsace (MISHA).
